Ova Prima

Objective: For students to explore the website www.ovaprima.org by looking through the various tabs and analyzing the information provided; the student should be able to discern the credibility and validity of the website by using multiple search engines.

Activities & Procedures:
A) Go to the website www.ovaprima.org.
B) By navigating through search engines such as google.com, bing.com, and yahooanswers.com.

1) Use one of the above search engines to search for the individuals Craigorn Shippen and Edmund Willard. Besides Ova Prima, what other information websites are listed? Are there any encyclopedia articles or something along those lines written about these individuals?

2) Ova Prima partners with the foundation Partnerships in Lifelong Learning. What comes up when you search the foundation?

3) Can any information be found about the current research projects for Ova Prima? For example, when looking for facts on the main article "Echineal Durability Studies and the Vitelline Membrane: Assessing the Various Archaeoevaluatory Methods of Investigating Membrane/Morphogenetic Traces in Sedimentary Deposits", what else can be found out about it? Have the authors done any other research work in general, or specific to the research topic?

  1. This is a good start. Maybe you can add something that addresses the reason why the teacher should engage in the exercise in the first place before you write the objective.
    Not sure why the foundation would be relevant to the websites credibility. Maybe the question can be replaced to see if their research is peer reviewed or if it was deemed credible by an outside source.
